I remember being bestfriends with my BFF taylor (eden) because of this movie (well, atleast its one of the reasons).. she got her alias from this movie, and well, most of her traits back in the old days.. ahahaha.. kiddin.. shes (BFF) not your ordinary highschool mean girl,, shes wayyyy better,shes very smart and doesn’t just rely on her looks to get away with things. She has her own clever ways of pushing through, she is the strongest and brightest girl I know, and I admire her so much for that. AND Unlike the “taylor” character in the movie, not a slut at all!
Might you ask why we became BFFs because of this movie? Not only because I wanted to have that taylor attitude, you know, the most popular girl at school that all girls want to be and that all the boys want to date her.(except the 2nd part though coz I didn’t like boys then, I was so inlove with singing and dancing)..I was really boyish then but my band manager in high school told me to be more like a lady,, he said with the pretty face I had and talent, I could go places. So naïve, I thought being mean was pretty..like in the movie.. I’ve been a movie whore since childhood, I thinks that’s why I base everything by the movie I see. Especially when my dad bought me a “she’s all that” vhs tape (yes! It was on vhs then! Gad I’m old). I watched it over and over again, memorizing the lines and using them on the bullies at school. Hahahaha one time a boy was bullying me for being a teacher’s pet. I got up and said “you’re fat and ugly. Nobody likes you.. ahhh.. you’re not gonna cry are you?”… and he was like.. “ano?” (what?)..then he left and said, “mam oh, c Elbo nag-i-english eh filipino time po”,,(mam, Elbo is speaking english though its Filipino time) wahahahhah.. I used some of taylor’s mean girl lines.. but the original lines were:
Isn’t she clever with those lines? Ahahaha,, I used to love her so much in high school. And ofcorse all the other famous means girls like Regina George (Rachel McAdams) in Mean Girls, and the oldest mean girl I know is Miranda Priestly (Meryll streep) in The devil wears prada and now the newest DVD released Mean Girls 2 Mandi(with an “I”) Whetherly. Shes really perfect for this role I thought ever since I saw her character in Desperate housewive 6. But taylor is still a legend! Ahahaha..
Ok, so watching all those movies again made me realize how mean I was in the past. And thats not funny at all, how I wish I could extend my apologies to all the girls I hurt with those lines in the past.. but hey, I’m a grown up now, and I’m trying to be as friendly as possible now that I’m more mature. I remember 2 years ago being caught up in an ugly situation with an old friend because of some nasty rumors which btw I really don’t know how it all started, and thingking of how I reacted, I’m proud of myself for not adding firewoods in the fire.I just recollected all the good times with her and I stopped being angry. Now things are back to normal (I hope), well, if you are reading this,, you are such a sweet girl and I hope u continue being so, people love u for that, I know I do. We have a lot of things in common and There are still so many things I wanna share with u . like the contents of the next paragraph: ^^
Enough with the journey down the memory lane. I have a twitter account for nearly 3 years now, but its been a while since I visited and tweeted something,, Im not a celebrity or a famous personality so I don’t have a lot of followers and there arent really much to tweet about.. maybe, maybe in the future I’ll get a hold of it and have more followers. You see, I only have 1 follower in this blog and still hoping for some more in the future,,so, I think when I reach 100 followers I will also host a contest/giveaway! That would be so much fun wouldn’t it?..
